I've recently started changing my computer wallpaper and customizing it. The above is my wallpaper I created for the month of February. I find it enjoyable to decide on my theme and build it. Obviously my theme this month was Lent. I'm not perfect at making these but they bring me joy when I look on them.
For the background I picked a snowy scene with pine branches as it was snowing and we'd had back to back blizzards when I was designing it.
The first picture I picked was the woman walking on a snowy path. Blaze and I walk a LOT and with the snow we'd had it was quite beautiful walking especially at night in the quiet. I wish I had such a beautiful walking path to walk on.
The wood bowl with the wooden rosary spoke to me. I have a wood rosary that looks similar to the one in the picture. The wooden bowl and spoon spoke to me of the simplicity of St. Francis and how we should be stepping back and focusing on the simple things during Lent.
The cross is where we walk with Jesus during Lent. Purple is for his royalty. Lent is for us to be reminded of what Jesus did for us by walking with Jesus through his last days up to his death on the cross.
I've already created two more for March and may create another one that speaks to me more. I may stop putting my name on them and post them as Created By The Catholic Grandma. We shall see.
